Rare 2 Rentenpfennig Germany Coin 1924

$20.00

It’s the 2 Rentenpfennig coin from the Deutsches Reich (Weimar Republic era), were struck off-center, meaning the planchet sat improperly in the collar and both sides received an uneven, shifted impression.

The obverse reads

DEUTSCHES REICH
with a large “2” and the year (19 | 24) flanking a grain sheaf.
The reverse simply states
2 RENTENPFENNIG
This bronze-aluminum coin (21 mm, ~3.5 g) was issued in late 1923 and 1924 to stabilize Germany’s post-hyperinflation economy. It’s common but carries real Weimar history in every scratch.
